2010 is coming to a close and I'm tossing my hat into the "Best of" lists going around everywhere. It's been a great year in toys and it's hard to pick out my favorite action figures out of so many released this year. I would estimate that I purchased close to 200 figures in 2010 and that's not even all the figures I WANTED!
For the sake of this list, I'm only considering the figures I did acquire and only the ones released in 2010. So without further a do, here is 3B's list of the 10 best action figures of 2010!

Ghostbusters II Box Set - Review
Just in time for the holidays and serving as a big "F-you" to Ghostbusters fans who had been torturously collecting the original movie team via www.mattycollector.com for over a year, Mattel unleashed this box set of the four 'busters in their dark grey uniforms from Ghostbusters 2. Let's see if this slap in the face turned out to be a great addition to your GB collection.

Stinger Shots: King Grayskull (reissue)
Well, it's the home stretch before Christmas and I think today's installment of "Stinger Shots" is appropriate for the occasion. We're taking a look at the reissued King Grayskull from the Masters of the Universe Classics line and he's sporting a barbarian Santa Claus motif just in time for Christmas!

Justice League of America, Amazo - Review
Back in October I posted an update about a recent trip to Tate's Comics in Sunrise, FL. There I managed to haul several action figures that I wanted and this Amazo was one of them. Let's find out what he's about and how he meshes with my preferred DC figure line, DC Universe Classics!

WWE Elite, Matt Hardy (Series 6) - Review
Matt Hardy has the distinct honor of being the first (and only) Elite series 6 figure I've purchased. Not just that, he's the only E6 figure I've seen on the pegs! Kind of sad when you consider that up until now, my local Targets and Kmarts have stocked up on WWE Elite figures as soon as they start hitting in other parts of the country. However, Elite 6 and Legends 3 have been MIA, that is until I found Hardy. Let's see how his second entry in the line turned out!

WWE Knee Pad Mods - Custom
Mattel's been doing a great job with their new WWE figures, but that doesn't mean they always deliver a flawless product. While they focus on small details specific to each wrestler, some things have to be reused in order to keep costs down. Today's edition of "Customs" focuses on the different styles of knee pads used throughout the various WWE lines and how some figures look much better by simply swapping pads with other figures.

Ghostbusters, Peter Venkman - Review
"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."
Finally, we have the complete, unslimed, Ghostbusters team from the original film. For some collectors this has been an over year-long wait, but for others (like me) it's been 25+ years in the making. And now after all the frustration and agony of the wait, I can gaze upon my display shelf and see my favorite team of paranormal exterminators together for the first time in plastic with the arrival of Peter Venkman!
